Softball Recap: Ephrata Comes Up Short

Ephrata lost to Eastern Lebanon County back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mountaineers fell 19-14 to the Raiders. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aldynne Snyder stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs, five RBI, and two doubles. Emma Showalter was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four stolen bases and four runs.

Ephrata now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Eastern Lebanon County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ephrata will venture away from home to square off against J.P. McCaskey at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastern Lebanon County, they will head out to face off against Lebanon at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
