Williamsburg posted their biggest win since September 19th on Thursday. Everything went their way against the East Clinton Astros as the Williamsburg Wildcats made off with a 3-0 victory. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 loss the Astros walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September.
One reason for the win was Williamsburg's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-17.
East Clinton's loss came despite strong showings from Taylor Barton and Kaylee Terrell. Barton had 16 digs, while Terrell had eight digs, two aces, and a block. That's the most aces Terrell has posted in her last seven matchups.
Williamsburg has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for East Clinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.
