Basketball Recap: Cordia Comes Up Short

Cordia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Whitley County Colonels, falling 93-24. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cordia's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Whitley County, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cordia Lions face off against the Jackson City Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitley County, they will face off against South Laurel at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
