Volleyball Recap: Newport Find Success

Newport saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Taft Tigers by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cubs.

The victory got Newport back to even at 6-6. As for Taft, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-6 record.

Coming up, Newport will be playing at home against Philomath at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taft, they are taking a road trip to take on Dayton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
