Lake Travis wins going away against Lake Highlands

The Lake Travis Cavaliers put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Lake Highlands with a sharp 70-46 victory. Considering Lake Travis has won seven contests by more than 20 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Lake Travis' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hudson Greer led the charge by scoring 21 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Greer has scored at least 25% of Lake Travis' points. Another player making a difference was Adrian Mathis, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.

Lake Travis' win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Lake Highlands, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Lake Travis will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Stony Point at 6:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Stony Point knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight games -- so hopefully Lake Travis likes a good challenge. As for Lake Highlands, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. MacArthur is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
