Baseball Recap: Rubidoux Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Rubidoux's offense. They came up short against the Ramona Rams on Friday, falling 10-0. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Rubidoux saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emilio Jimenez, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Rubidoux's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-4. As for Ramona, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Rubidoux will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on La Sierra at 3:45 p.m. on April 1. As for Ramona, they will be taking part in a tournament against Horizon Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
