Volleyball Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest was the 3-1 winner over Norco when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Hillcrest Trojans fell just short of the Norco Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Norco, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hillcrest and Norco will both be playing Murrieta Valley the next time they take the court. Norco will head out to face Murrieta Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Hillcrest will play them later in the day, at 10:00 p.m.
