Basketball Recap: Century's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Century saw some tournament action on Sunday. They took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagle Point Eagles. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Jaguars came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Eagles are ranked 124th).

Century's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. As for Eagle Point, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Century will finish 2024 at home by hosting Sprague at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eagle Point, they will welcome Roseburg at 2:30 p.m. on December 30th.
