Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Christian Academy). In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 49-48 win over the Purdue Broad Ripple Lynx. The victory was some much needed relief for the Chargers as it spelled an end to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Central Christian Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Purdue Broad Ripple, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Christian Academy will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Providence Cristo Rey at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Purdue Broad Ripple, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Indiana Math & Science Academy North at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
