Ursuline Academy extended their home winning streak to 11 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Mackenzie Higgins. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Badin Rams on Saturday with plenty of help from Higgins, who had 13 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Ursuline Academy was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-19.

Caitlin Brown and Mallory Giesting certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Brown had six digs and two aces, while Giesting had seven digs and one assist.

Ursuline Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Badin, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Ursuline Academy has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Lebanon on the 22nd. As for Badin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Colerain on the 22nd.
