Softball Game Preview: Graham Red Devils vs. Northwood Chargers

Graham is on an 11-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Northwood a six-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Graham Red Devils will be playing at home against the Northwood Chargers at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Graham came up short against Bartlett Yancey on Wednesday, falling 21-10.

Meanwhile, Northwood lost 18-4 to Chapel Hill on Wednesday.

Allison Bryant made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Ava Bain also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Graham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Northwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Graham might still be hurting after the 19-2 defeat they got from Northwood when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Graham avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
