Volleyball Recap: Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Comes Up Short

Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Boulder City Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-15.

Leading Boulder City to victory were Tyler Bradshaw and Garrett Adams. Bradshaw had 11 digs and two aces, while Adams had 14 assists and four digs. Noah Duncan also deserves some recognition as he had his first dig of the season.

Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Boulder City, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon will challenge Western at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Boulder City, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Sports Leadership & Management on the 2nd.
