Basketball Recap: Gretna Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Gretna Dragons ended up a good deal behind Elkhorn North and lost 63-46. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while Elkhorn North are ranked ninth).

Gretna dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Elkhorn North, their record is now 7-1.

Gretna will head out to square off against Waverly at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elkhorn North, they will host Standing Bear at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
