Evangel Christian won the last time they faced North River Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lightning came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 2-0.

Makayla Cranford paced Evangel Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Cranford got some help from Alyssa Stephens and her 11 assists. Rosalie Casey controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Evangel Christian has been performing well recently as they've won 17 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6-2 record this season. As for North River Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
