Football Game Preview: Lee Christian Falcons vs. Northeast Academy Eagles

The Lee Christian Falcons will face off against the Northeast Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northeast Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lee Christian, who comes in off a win.

Lee Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of North Carolina's top teams: Berean Baptist Academy, who was ranked 16th at the time (Lee Christian was ranked 15th). The Falcons strolled past the Bulldogs with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 46-28. The Falcons' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

Jordan Wilson had a dynamite game, rushing for 213 yards and four scores on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lee Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 373 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Northeast Academy played against Pungo Christian Academy on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Northeast Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lee Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
