Volleyball Game Preview: Antwerp Archers vs. Continental Pirates

The Antwerp Archers will challenge the Continental Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Antwerp is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Antwerp came up short against Edon on Saturday, falling 3-0.

While Antwerp was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Edon's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 25-20.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Continental and Edgerton, and Continental kept the tradition alive. The Pirates walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs on Thursday.

Continental had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-12, 25-17, 25-17.

Antwerp's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Continental, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
