 The Mitchell Bluejackets have the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome the Beech Grove Hornets at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Mitchell's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2  runs per game  this season, so Beech Grove's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
 Mitchell stacked  a  tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They never let Eastern onto the board and left with  a   17-0  win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Mitchell considering their one-run performance the  match before.
  Ben Seitzinger was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Seitzinger has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in nine consecutive pitching appearances. Seitzinger was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with four  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Simon Gaines was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.  Ethan Turner was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Beech Grove lost  12-4 to Covenant Christian on Friday. Beech Grove has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
