Basketball Recap: Mount Juliet Christian Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mount Juliet Christian Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 18 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They took a blow against the University School of Nashville Tigers, falling 74-35. The Saints lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in January of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 2-0 score last time.

As for University School of Nashville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Braylin Davis had another great game (as he tends to do), going 6-for-14 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least 18 points.

Mount Juliet Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-34 loss against Ezell-Harding Christian on the 8th. As for University School of Nashville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 83-62 defeat against Grace Christian Academy on the 6th.
