Preview: Reading Blue Devils vs. Indian Hill Braves
Reading is 1-9 against Indian Hill since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Reading Blue Devils will be home for the holidays to greet the Indian Hill Braves at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Reading narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Madeira 48-45. Given Reading's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 246th, while Madeira is ranked 601st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Indian Hill had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 55-48 win over Madeira.
Reading now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Indian Hill, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
