Volleyball Recap: Fall River Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fall River had lost four straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 2-18 to make it five. They came up short against the Weed Cougars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

As for Weed, they moved to 17-10 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

Weed can attribute much of their success to Judith Atondo, who had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Atondo a new career-high.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fall River is set to challenge their familiar foe Modoc at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Weed will take on rival Etna at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
