Volleyball Game Preview: Calvert Senecas vs. Liberty-Benton Eagles

The Calvert Senecas will take on the Liberty-Benton Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvert is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Monday, Calvert made easy work of St. Mary Central Catholic and carried off a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Calvert took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-4.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Liberty-Benton faced off against Riverdale on Monday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-20.

Calvert's victory bumped their record up to 19-0. As for Liberty-Benton, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.

Everything went Calvert's way against Liberty-Benton when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Calvert made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Senecas repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
