Basketball Recap: Tatnall Takes a Loss

Tatnall lost against Sanford back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tatnall Hornets received a blow as they fell 62-46 to the Sanford Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Delaware basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Warriors are ranked second).

Sanford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nico McNeill, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khareem Hart, who posted ten points.

Tatnall's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Sanford, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Tatnall nor Sanford have any future games scheduled.
