Softball Recap: Hendersonville Victorious

While Hendersonville's victory against White House wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hendersonville Commandos narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the White House Blue Devils 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Commandos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Peyton Kelley was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Kyleigh Goode also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Hendersonville now has a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Hendersonville will take on Independence in a tournament on Friday. White House will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hunters Lane at 4:00 p.m. on March 20th.
