Baseball Recap: Tri-Village Takes a Loss

Tri-Village fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Troy Christian on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-4. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

Tri-Village now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Troy Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Tri-Village will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Arcanum at 5:00 p.m. As for Troy Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lehman Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 3.5, the Cavaliers 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
