Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tarpon Springs to victory, but perhaps none more so than Geramyah Porter, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 steals. Porter is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. When it comes to explaining why Pinellas Park lost, one person who can't be blamed is Sayla Thach. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thach has scored all season. Ezekial Bohlmann was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Tarpon Springs pushed their record up to 5-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Pinellas Park, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tarpon Springs will square off against Clearwater at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
