Softball Recap: Billingsley Comes Up Short

Billingsley and Autauga Academy squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Billingsley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Generals by a score of 5-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Generals: they've now lost three in a row.

Harmony Arnold made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Billingsley's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Autauga Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Billingsley nor Autauga Academy have any future games scheduled.
