Game recap: Suffield Academy High School Football Team beats Williston Northampton

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. - Suffield Academy (Suffield, Conn.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 14 in the fourth quarter to seal a 46-19 victory over Williston Northampton (Easthampton, Mass.).

After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by Brice McAllister in the first quarter, the Tigers led 15-6 at the half.

Suffield Academy expanded its lead to 20 points entering the fourth quarter. SA scored three times in the third, including once on a passing touchdown.

With the win the Suffield school extended its winning streak to six games. The Tigers defeated the Cats 31-14 last week.

Jordan Keliinui made a difference for the Wildcats. The senior running back ran for one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to four on the year.

Suffield Academy's most effective player was McAllister. The junior running back ran for one touchdown and caught one touchdown. He has now scored 15 touchdowns on the season.



When the two teams played each other last season, SA came away with a 12-6 victory.

The defeat comes as a step back for Williston Northampton, which notched a 41-26 victory over Wilbraham & Monson Academy in its previous outing.

Williston Northampton (3-3) goes up against Tabor Academy in a Colonial game matchup next week, while Suffield Academy (6-0) locks horns with St. Thomas More also in a Colonial game.
