Soccer Game Preview: Swan Valley vs. Alma

The Swan Valley Vikings will square off against the Alma Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Alma took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Swan Valley, who comes in off a win.

Swan Valley's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They blew past Unionville-Sebewaing 6-0.

Meanwhile, Alma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Valley Lutheran, falling 4-0.

Swan Valley's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Alma, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything went Swan Valley's way against Alma in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Swan Valley made off with a 6-0 victory. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
