Soccer Recap: Philadelphia Academy Charter Takes a Loss

Philadelphia Academy Charter was the 3-1 winner over Franklin Learning Center when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Chargers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats on Friday. Philadelphia Academy Charter have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their goal came courtesy of Dylan Romero, which was the first he's scored this season.

Philadelphia Academy Charter's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Franklin Learning Center, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Philadelphia Academy Charter has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Carver High School of Engineering & Science on the 29th. As for Franklin Learning Center, they will venture away from home to challenge Mastery Charter South co-op [Mastery Charter Lenfest/Mastery Charter Thomas] at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
