Woodlan had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Southern Wells Raiders by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Alyssa Anderson paced Woodlan's offense, picking up nine kills. Anderson got some help from Tori Crozier and her 18 assists. Anderson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Makaila Gruber, each putting up two.

When it comes to explaining why Southern Wells lost, don't look at Sydney Alstoft. Despite the final result, she had five digs, two aces, and one block. Alstoft is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Woodlan's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Southern Wells, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Woodlan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Bluffton on the 27th. As for Southern Wells, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Heritage on the 27th.
