Basketball Game Preview: Atlantic Trojans vs. Harlan Cyclones

The Atlantic Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the Harlan Cyclones at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Atlantic is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Atlantic ended up a good deal behind Clarinda and lost 50-33.

Meanwhile, Harlan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-56 heartbreaker at the hands of Glenwood.

Harlan now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Atlantic, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Atlantic came out on top in a nail-biter against Harlan when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 48-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Atlantic since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
