Recap: Eureka Vandals vs. Pahranagat Valley Panthers
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Eureka Vandals had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They skirted past Pahranagat Valley 34-32. Eureka's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
It was another big night for Anthony Minoletti, who threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Watts, who picked up 115 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Eureka pushed their record up to 11-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.0 points per game. As for Pahranagat Valley, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.
Eureka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pahranagat Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
