Volleyball Recap: The King's Academy Beats Georgia-Cumberland Academy for Their Fifth Straight Victory

The King's Academy had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Georgia-Cumberland Academy Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 win. The matchup marked the Knights' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant The King's Academy was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-5, 25-5.

The King's Academy can attribute much of their success to Hailey Landrum, who had nine digs and six aces. That's the most aces Landrum has posted since back in September of 2024.

Landrum wasn't the only good server: The King's Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 34 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
