Baseball Recap: Afton Comes Up Short

Afton lost against Copan back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 3-1.

Afton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Victor, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Afton's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Copan, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Afton will be playing in front of their home fans against Chouteau-Mazie at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Copan, they will face off against Glencoe at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
