Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Covenant Christian). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Providence Classical Paladins 60-21. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Covenant Christian found their leader in sophomore Lucy Hahn, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 boards. Those 16 rebounds set a new season-high mark for Hahn. Chloe Wade was another key player, going 6 for 11 on her way to 12 points and six steals.

Covenant Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive matchups.

Covenant Christian pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points per game. As for Providence Classical, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Covenant Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lifestyle Christian at 5:30 p.m. on February 7th. Providence Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
