Basketball Recap: New Glarus Takes a Loss

New Glarus was the 93-65 winner over Cambridge when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The New Glarus Glarner Knights lost to the Cambridge Bluejays on the road by a 69-52 margin on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Glarner Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while the Bluejays are ranked 49th).

New Glarus' defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Cambridge, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Glarus will host Marshall at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marshall will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something New Glarus surely won't give up without a fight. Cambridge has already played their next matchup (against Waterloo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
