Softball Recap: Navarro Comes Up Short

Navarro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 19-4 to the Anderson Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 back in March.

Julia ` Chaplin was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-1. She also brought in two RBI, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Sanchez, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

Navarro's record now sits at 3-12. As for Anderson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Navarro nor Anderson have any future games scheduled.
