Soccer Recap: Paw Paw Comes Up Short

Paw Paw came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Edwardsburg Eddies, falling 3-0. Paw Paw haven't had much luck with Edwardsburg recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Paw Paw's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Edwardsburg, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1-1.

Paw Paw and Edwardsburg should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Red Wolves (ranked 86th) will meet Allegan (ranked 203rd) at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Edwardsburg will square off against Berrien Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (21 vs. 121).
