Easley won the last time they faced Pickens and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Easley Green Wave's defense stepped up to hand the Pickens Blue Flame a 5-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Yulizza Maximo-Hayes as she scored three goals for her team.

The victory made it two in a row for Easley and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Pickens, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Easley will take on Woodmont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Easley will be up against Woodmont's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.75 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pickens, they will head out to challenge Walhalla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
