Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Powers Catholic Chargers a 17-0 shutout on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won four in a row.

Central's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Powers Catholic, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
