Truman hit Fort Osage with a five-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Indians fell 9-4 to the Patriots. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Fort Osage's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Truman, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Fort Osage will head out on the road to challenge Raytown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Truman, they will take on Ruskin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
