Basketball Recap: Merrimack Valley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Kingswood last Tuesday, Merrimack Valley came back down to earth. The Merrimack Valley The Pride fell to the Laconia Sachems 49-44. The loss was the The Pride's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Merrimack Valley fell to 2-1. As for Laconia, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

While Merrimack Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
