It was a Battle of the Birds when Founders Christian challenged First Baptist Academy on Thursday. The Founders Christian Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 44-42 win over the First Baptist Academy Eagles. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons who have now won four matchups in a row.

First Baptist Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Timothy De La Rosa, who posted 18 points and three steals, and Noah Napier, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. The game was De La Rosa's third in a row with at least ten points.

Founders Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for First Baptist Academy, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Founders Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-39 win against Brazosport Christian on the 13th. As for First Baptist Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-26 victory against Allen Academy on the 13th.
