The Windsor Wizards had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They strolled past Vista PEAK Prep with points to spare, taking the game 55-38. That's another feather in the cap for Windsor, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Windsor was led to victory by Brooklyn Jiricek and Reyleigh Hess. Jiricek dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Hess dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gabby Gates, who scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Vista PEAK Prep saw an underclassman step up: Knakai Starks scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Windsor's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Windsor will take on Pine Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they will take on Ralston Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
