Volleyball Recap: Jackson Academy Comes Up Short

Jackson Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Daphne Trojans. The game marked the first time this season in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Carson Caraway paced Jackson Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Caraway were helped by Darby Horn and Lillie Henson, who contributed six assists each.

Among those leading the charge was Isabella Charlton, who had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024. T'Lanee Boyett also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Jackson Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-1-1. As for Daphne, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Coming up, Jackson Academy will take on Forest in a tournament on Friday. As for Daphne, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Spanish Fort on the 23rd.
