Powdersville had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.9 points) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Tuesday. They strolled past the Southside Christian Sabres with points to spare, taking the game 55-37. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-21 last Wednesday.

Leading Powdersville to victory were Makayla Assemian and Caroline Sweet. Assemian went 10 for 14 on her way to 21 points and seven rebounds, while Sweet went 7 of 12 en route to 18 points and five assists. The match was Assemian's 11th in a row with at least 15 points. Macy Caldwell was another key player, putting up seven points and 11 boards.

Powdersville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in eight consecutive contests.

Powdersville pushed their record up to 17-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points over those games. As for Southside Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Powdersville will face off against Wren at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Powdersville has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three games. Southside Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
