Volleyball Game Preview: Freeman Scotties vs. Lake City Timberwolves

The Freeman Scotties will take on the Lake City Timberwolves at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Freeman sitting on seven straight victories and Lake City on three.

On Tuesday, Freeman made easy work of Liberty and carried off a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Lake City got the win against Lakeland on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-18.

Lake City picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 8-13. As for Freeman, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

Freeman couldn't quite get it done against Lake City when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Scotties avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
