Volleyball Recap: Rogers Comes Up Short

Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brooks Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 25-21 back in August.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Brooks, their victory bumped their record up to 12-23.

Rogers has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Lauderdale County on the 4th. As for Brooks, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Central on the 4th.
