Soccer Recap: Evergreen Park Comes Up Short

Evergreen Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Argo Argonauts. That's two games in a row now that Evergreen Park have lost by just one goal.

Evergreen Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Argo, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Evergreen Park is set to challenge their familiar foe Blue Island Eisenhower at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Argo will face off against rival Lemont at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
