Volleyball Recap: Oconomowoc Takes a Loss

Oconomowoc came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Waukesha West Wolverines.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-17.

Oconomowoc's offense was headlined by Ryan Romero and Mason Hoadley, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Nate Karnowski and his 18 assists. Ben Gricius controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

JJ Hamilton was nothing short of spectacular for Waukesha West: he had 17 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Hamilton has posted over his last five contests.

Oconomowoc's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Waukesha West, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Oconomowoc has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Cedarburg on the 13th. As for Waukesha West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Wauwatosa East on the 13th.
